Our company was founded in 2003 in Vail, Colorado to provide rental sales and marketing services to individual homeowners and to local property management companies. Our founder, Larry Hoffer identified a niche in the burgeoning vacation rental industry after being successful at renting his own mountain property. He has applied the skills developed at leading companies in the hospitality and telecommunication industries to propel the company.
Expansion with Local Partners
After achieving immediate success in the Vail market, the Resortia Rentals By Owner brand was expanded to dozens of destinations throughout North Amercia. Resortia represents thousands of vacation homes and condos throughout the Colorado Rocky Mountain region, Canada, South Carolina, and Utah.
We believe that success in a local resort destination market depends on local presence and passion. The team at Rentalz has formed new companies located in the destinations, and developed a network of Local Partners. The Local Partners and the team at Rentalz collaborate to deliver an excellent rental experience, benefitting both individual homeowners and local vacation rental companies. Local Partners and their teams work closely with the local property management companies and second-homeowners, while the Denver based team develops new technology, brand, and marketing strategies that are applied locally.
To better deliver rentals for each of the local Partners, Rentalz.com was launched using a hyper-local approach. While Rentalz.com serves as the master transactional brand for the company, it's built on a foundation of dozens of local Rentalz microsites, each featuring the inventory of an Exclusive Local Partner in the market
OwnerPoint is the vacation rental industry's leading solution to help property managers identify and target the most lucrative properties in their region.
We developed the TravelPoint platform as the backbone of our advanced database targeting platform to allow us to delivery highly targeted marketing messages based on a traveler's demographic profile and previous behavior.
Well-aware of the importance of social media for growing businesses, the team at Resortia developed local Escape Guides for each of the destinations in which we operate. Escape Guide websites are content-rich, with fresh and timely articles, reviews, and more, providing visitors with a reason to engage early in the travel planning process through direct social media integration. The Exclusive Local Partner in each destination benefits from the local turnkey Escape Guide in their destination.
Exclusive Local Partner Program (new & enhanced)
Resortia has developed a new and enhanced Exclusive Local Partner program to enter new destinations. We select only one existing and market-leading property management company to be our Exclusive Local Partner in each destination. Companies are carefully selected based on their breadth and depth of inventory, among other factors. In addition to having their inventory exclusively featured on a Rentalz microsite, the Exclusive Local Partner will also benefit from promotion on an Escape Guide for the market, and a suite of ongoing marketing services including advanced database management. Resortia has identified more than 175 additional travel destinations for which we are seeking Exclusive Local Partners in North America and the Caribbean, with European deployment scheduled for 2022.
Resortia operates in some of the most exclusive travel destinations in North America, and in turn, offers super-premium private homes and condos to travelers. The Deluxuri brand was launched to showcase the best-of-the-best properties, and provides lead-generation and booking services to property management companies who are seeking additional exposure to discriminating travelers for their ultra-premium properties.
HomeSites was created to allow Resortia Partners the opportunity to provide homeowners with their own property-specific website. Homeowners can use this website to promote their home to their own contacts and through social media. all inquiries are directed to the local Partner. In addition to incremental "free" lead generation from the homeowner’s own network of friends and family, providing homeowners with a HomeSite assists in property acquisition and retention for our Exclusive Local Partners.
Since its inception, Rentalz has developed leading proprietary technology and advanced systems, which integrate with existing industry technology (including HubSpot, Streamline VRS, and HomeAway Software). This integration assists Resortia’s Local Partners to grow their businesses.
The team at Rentalz has close and long lasting working relationships with Vrbo, TripAdvisor, Airbnb, Streamline, BlueTent, TravelNet Solutions, BookingPal and more than 70 property management companies and continues to work collaboratively to provide the best guest experience and to support our industry.
